Sockets are not always handled properly. As BNC makes intensive use of communication through sockets, we suggest to use the Server Version of Windows Operating Systems when running BNC continuously for a long time on a Windows platform. 424 424 </li> 425 <li> 426 The code provided by NRCan for decoding streams coming in RTIGS format is 32-bit sensitive and can not be compiled on 64-bit Linux systems. Thus, the BNC executable provided for Linux has been generated on a 32-bit system.
