After hitting the 'Start' button configuration options are brought to BNC's working memory (2) allowing the program to beginn its operation. Hitting the 'Stop' button ends data processing and the user finally terminates BNC through 'File'->'Quit' which saves processing options in a configuration file to disk (3). It may be important to understand that:
